Bonne Marie in Scheidt

Everything is very good, clean, so I'd like to put 4 stars, but: there was no WiFi during our stay, and I could not work as I planned. What is more disappointing is that the house lady didn't seem to care about the problem.

Very spacious and clean. Community toilet in the corridor. At arrival at 16 o'clock unfortunately no beds available. The grounds quite neglected. No breakfast included. We had ever booked a double and a single room for 3 nights. The rooms were paid on booking. When our son wanted to pick up the keys on the day of arrival, it was said that single room would only be 2 days off. Without offering an alternative, we now had to take care of our mother's last night somewhere else to accommodate. That is not how it works. We did not get an invoice or a receipt.

During my Saarland vacations, I always visit the cafe / restaurant at Maison Bonne Marie several times. The cozy ambience, the friendly service and the great baked goods, as well as the excellent cuisine inspire me again and again!

A beautiful cozy ambience, if you like nostalgia .... my girlfriend and I felt comfortable and well looked after, the baked goods and all that belonged to it were delicious and very fresh .... at any time we would go back for breakfast come ... ?

Quiet, nicely furnished rooms. The overnight stay unfortunately without breakfast, but kitchen use on the floor possible.

Beautiful room, unfortunately no breakfast with the overnight stay. But self-catering kitchen on the floor. If my husband wasn't handicapped and the stairs to the 2nd floor weren't so difficult, we would have made ourselves comfortable there longer.
